Fashion, style, and beauty are important to me. My mother taught me to appreciate the quality and beauty in life – from the simple to the sublime. As I grew up, I knew I wanted to fulfill my desire to be creative and incorporate it into a business and way of life.

Believe it or not, I learned calligraphy from a nun in high school. I enjoyed dabbling in it from time to time, but it wasn’t until I was getting married that my fiance (now husband) suggested that I do my own calligraphy.  As it happened, one of our guests was an event planner who suggested that I start freelancing as a calligrapher. While I laughed at that, I did it anyway as it was a good way to feed my creative outlet and be able to stay at home to raise my two daughters.

While calligraphy services are my mainstay, I had taken up quilling as a hobby – to just personally use for an elegant touch on presents – I love a well-wrapped present! As I worked on my hobby and my calligraphy business at the same time, it dawned on me that a pretty little flower on a placecard would be beautiful and really special. So I began making placecards with quilled flowers and expanded to other stationeries from there.

Over the last six years, I have been able to develop a signature style with my clients, and enjoy consulting with them on new events. I look forward to working with you to bring beauty and grace to the special occasions in your lives.
